Car Detailing The Office of Procurement Services has arranged for Detailing Dynamics to offer its car-washing services in the parking lot behind O’Boyle Hall Wednesday, May 11, from 8 a.m. until the last car is finished. Members of the CUA community are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to have their cars washed while they’re at work. The cost is $15 for a basic exterior wash; $35 for exterior and interior. Other services are available for an additional fee. Cash and Visa and MasterCard will be accepted. No R.s.v.p. is necessary. Accommodations for Commencement Ceremonies To ensure that disability accommodation needs can be met, graduating students who need them or who have invited guests who require them should contact the Office of Disability Support Services as soon as possible at cua-disabilityservices@cua.edu or 202-319-5211.
Cap and Gown Information The CUA Bookstore announces the following important dates for graduates needing to pick up or obtain regalia for the May 14 Commencement ceremonies. Those who have pre-ordered master’s/doctoral rental gowns as well as walk-ins (anyone who has not pre-ordered) can pick up gowns at the CUA Bookstore, lower level, on Thursday, May 12, and Friday, May 13, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Saturday, May 14, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Individuals must present ID, receipt, or online confirmation. Master’s and doctoral graduates must also provide a $60 cash deposit to pick up their rentals. Master's and doctoral rental regalia must be returned to the CUA Bookstore immediately following the last ceremony the graduate participates in, no later than 5:30 p.m. on May 14. The bookstore also offers a full selection of CUA diploma frames and graduation-related merchandise. For more information, call 202-319-5232.
Summer Housing The Office of Housing Services is accepting applications from CUA students for summer housing. Current CUA students do not need to be enrolled in summer classes to be eligible for summer housing. Space is still available in Opus Hall from May 15 to Aug. 7.
