Desks Available

Children's School Supplies and Clothing Drive
The Office of Dining Services and ARAMARK are holding a clothing drive for Mary's Center for Maternal and Child Care in Northwest D.C. Donations of onesies, pacifiers, diapers and school supplies are being collected in the Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center at the first- and second-floor entrances through Monday, Aug. 2. Musicians Needed
The Office of Campus Activities is looking for musicians to perform during a "Lunchtime Performance Series" next year. Talented individuals from CUA are sought to entertain their fellow classmates and colleagues. The “Lunchtime Performance Series” features a weekly musical performance in the lobby or on the patio of the Pryzbyla Center from noon to 1 p.m. on most Fridays during the academic year. Cardinal Basketball Academy
Coach Steve Howes will present the 18th Annual Boys and Girls Basketball Camp at Catholic University. The camp is offered to children ages 7 through 15. Sessions will take place Monday, July 26, to Friday, July 30; and Monday, Aug. 16, to Friday, Aug. 20. Discounts are available for children of CUA faculty and staff. Revolution Field Hockey Camp at Catholic University
Revolution Field Hockey Camp, directed by Coach Gia Cillizza, will take place at CUA July 28-31 for players ages 10 to 18. Participants of all experience levels are encouraged to attend. Capitol Lacrosse Camp at CUA

Free Stress Management Series for Faculty and Staff
The Carebridge Corporation and Office of Human Resources are offering free seminars on stress management to all faculty and staff. All seminars will be held at 1 p.m. in the Pryzbyla Center, Room 351. Brown bag lunches are welcome and no R.s.v.p.s are necessary. Important Updates for Tuition Exchange and Tuition Assistance

  • Tuition Exchange
    The 2011-2012 Tuition Exchange Application is now posted at http://humanresources.cua.edu/benefits/exchange.cfm.
  • Tuition Assistance
    CUA faculty and staff who wish to receive the tuition assistance benefit for themselves or dependents for the Fall 2010 semester must submit their Application for Tuition Assistance to the Office of Human Resources by Friday, Sept. 10.

    As a reminder, employees must submit an application for tuition assistance by the deadline for every semester that they wish to receive the benefit.
