An open forum with Robert Schneider, vice president of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and CUA’s Middle States liaison, in preparation for the university’s decennial accreditation review. This is a unique opportunity to learn about important trends in accreditation of institutions of higher education nationally, and to discuss the significance of Self Study, which CUA is currently undertaking. All interested faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.

Here for the Summer? Help With Liturgical and Music Ministries
If you are in the area for the summer, consider helping with liturgical and/or music ministries for the weekly 9 p.m. Sunday Mass. The Mass will be held in the Millennium North Lounge, and continues all summer. We need your help. Field Hockey Camp at CUA
Get better and have fun at Revolution Field Hockey Camp at Catholic University on July 13 to 16. The camp will feature coaching, a turf field facility, prizes and air-conditioned dorms for girls ages 10 to 18 at all experience levels. Campers can select overnight or extended day options. The School of Canon Law has two solid wooden desks available to any CUA department or office. Interested parties should contact Cristina Verderese, assistant to the dean, at 202-319-5492, or e-mail Verderese@cua.edu, and are responsible for pick-up and transportation. No CUA equipment may be acquired for personal purchase or use.
Brookland Farmers Market
Faculty, staff and students at CUA are invited to visit the Brookland Historic Farmers Market. The market is open on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., next to the CVS store at 12th and Newton streets. The market will be adding more farmers and other vendors over the next few weeks.
