Tuesday, May 20
4 to 6 p.m., the John K. Mullen of Denver Memorial Library is holding a farewell reception to honor Michael McLane, director of libraries. Mullen Library, May Gallery. For more information, contact 202-319-5070.

6 to 9 p.m., the Department of Biology presents a poster show and exhibit with the Chesapeake Society for Microscopy. McMahon Hall, Foyer. All are welcome, and a snack buffet will be offered. Friday, May 23
2 p.m., Columbus School of Law holds its annual commencement, Great Upper Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. This year’s law school commencement speaker will be U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito Jr. He will receive the degree Doctor of Laws, honoris causa.

Here for the Summer? Help With Liturgical and Music Ministries
If you are in the area for the summer, consider helping with liturgical and/or music ministries for the weekly 9 p.m. Sunday Mass. The Mass will be held in Millennium North Lounge beginning Sunday, May 18. The Mass continues all summer and we need your help. Contact Jessica DePrizio at deprizio@cua.edu if you are able to help with music, lectoring, serving or Eucharistic ministry.

Brookland Farmers Market
Faculty, staff and students at CUA are invited to visit the Brookland Historic Farmers Market. The market opens this Sunday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., next to the CVS store at 12th and Newton streets. The market will be adding more farmers and other vendors over the next few weeks.

Coffee Demonstration
The Office of Procurement Services invites the CUA community to stop by and perk up their workweek on Tuesday, May 27. The Staples team will be on hand to demonstrate the Keurig coffee system’s brewing capabilities and benefits from 10 to 11 a.m. at Caldwell Hall Auditorium. Stop by and enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast along with a wide variety of fresh coffees and teas. For more information, or to make a reservation, contact Willandria Blount at 202-319-6401 or blount@cua.edu.

University Center Summer Hours and Dining Schedule
The Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center summer hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday for the summer.

After May 18, the Office of Dining Services will follow a summer schedule:

The Pryzbyla Food Court, Pryzbyla Center, 2nd floor
Monday through Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

Student Restaurant, Pryzbyla Center, 3rd floor
Monday through Sunday:
Breakfast: 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.   
Lunch: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  
Dinner: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Starbucks Coffee, Pryzbyla Center, 3rd floor
Monday through Thursday: 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

The Loft C-store, Pryzbyla Center, 1st floor
Monday through Friday: 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
