Exempt Employee Vacation Leave Carry Over — IMPORTANT UPDATE
The Office of Human Resources thanks all exempt employees who completed and submitted their requests and plans to use Fiscal Year 2008 vacation leave carry-over hours. Please note that the vacation leave carry-over hours should appear correctly stated on your June 2008 pay stub. The vacation leave hours stated on the June pay stub should include the Fiscal Year 2008 carry-over hours plus the hours earned during May and June 2008 (minus any hours used during May and June 2008). HR Customer Service Survey — UPDATE
For the convenience of faculty and staff, the survey window has now been extended through Thursday, July 3, 2008.
The Office of Human Resources seeks your help. As a team, we have pledged our dedication to improving the overall customer service experience of all who use our services including faculty, staff and visitors. As part of this pledge, we are seeking your input on how to achieve this goal today and into the future. We are focused on consistently delivering a positive customer service experience. To capture your opinion, we have created a brief, user-friendly, online survey, which can be completed either online or in paper format at any time through July 3. The survey comprises 24 questions, including open-ended questions, and is anonymous and secure. It should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. Office of Human Resources Summer Hours
Effective Thursday, June 19, the Office of Human Resources’ summer hours are as follows:
Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Office Equipment for Sale
The Office of Asset Inventory is selling two laptop computers and several laser printers. The office provides no guarantees or warranties on service or conditions of this equipment. The equipment is only available for viewing upon appointment. For more information, call Andrew Wolf at 202-319-6402.
Summer Specials in the Food Court
The Office of Dining Services is offering several summer specials.
On Mondays, customers can purchase any Starbucks beverage and then present the dated receipt to receive 20 percent off purchases at the Food Court.
On Tuesdays — Taco Tuesday — customers can purchase a taco salad and receive a free jumbo cookie.
On Wednesdays, customers can buy a slice of pizza and then purchase the second slice at half-price.
On Thursdays — Thirsty Thursday — customers can receive a free 22-ounce beverage with any purchase over $5.
On Fridays, breakfast is served all day.

The Center for Planning and Information Technology has made substantial progress on the PeopleSoft Student Administration System and Human Resources System upgrade project. All academic and administrative Web sites at CUA will undergo significant design and navigation changes during the 2008-2009 academic year. A university Web site development committee chaired by the Office of Public Affairs and the Center for Planning and Information Technology has engaged the services of NavigationArts to guide the university through the process of bringing CUA’s vibrant, dynamic campus life and academic excellence to the Web during the six-month project. Information About Registration For New CUA Freshmen
New students will receive their registration packets in the next few weeks. Faculty and staff may receive calls and e-mails from new students inquiring about the registration process. Faculty and staff are encouraged to direct these questions to the new registration site at http://registration.cua.edu/.
