5:30 p.m., the School of Architecture and Planning presents, “Pedagogies: From Drawing to Making,” by Nader Tehrani, associate professor of architecture, Massachusetts Institute of Technology School of Architecture and Planning, and principal, Office dA, Boston. Crough Center, Koubek Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public and offers AIA Continuing Education learning units. Campus Employment Fair
The Office of Career Services will hold its annual campus employment fair, Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Great Room, Edward J. Pryzbyla University Center. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and hire prospective work-study and non work-study students. Please call the career services office at 202-319-5623 to register your office or for more information.

Papal Chair Available for Viewing
The chair used by Pope Benedict XVI during his visit to the Pryzbyla Center in April is available for viewing at the University Archives in Aquinas Hall, Room 101. The archives are open during the summer from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to noon on Fridays. For more information, contact the archives at 202-319-5065.

Student Administration and Human Resource System Upgrade
CUA’s student administration and human resource system will be upgraded beginning on Monday, July 28, at 5 p.m. The new version will become available to the campus community on Monday Aug. 4. 
Cardinal Station will be taken offline on Friday, Aug. 1, at 5 p.m. as part of the upgrade. It will be back on-line on Monday, Aug. 4, with the new student administration and human resource system.
Between Tuesday, July 29, and Friday Aug. 1, the current version of our student administration system will still be accessible for viewing data via Cardinal Station. However, any data entered into the system during this time will be lost. Hold all data changes until the new upgraded system is available on Aug. 4. Summer Social

The Office of the President, Office of  Dining Services, University Center, Student Programs and Events, University Archives and the Columbus School of Law invite the CUA community to a summer social on Thursday, July 31, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Keelty Atrium in the Columbus School of Law. Stop by for refreshments, camaraderie and a look at the new Benedict XVI Papal Exhibit as it begins its 12-week tour of campus.

Work-Study Supervisor Training
The Office of Career Services will hold mandatory work-study training for new and returning supervisors. The schedule is as follows for new supervisors (select one):
Aug. 5 at 10 a.m., Pryzbyla Center, Great Room C
Aug. 11 at 2 p.m., Pryzbyla Center, Great Room C
Returning supervisor training will be held as follows (select one):
Aug. 6 at 10 a.m., Pryzbyla Center, Great Room A
Aug. 12 at 10 a.m., Pryzbyla Center, Great Room C

Unclaimed Lost and Found Property For Auction
The Department of Public Safety will hold an auction for unclaimed lost and found property on Sept. 3, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Leahy Hall first floor conference room. There will be a viewing of the property prior to the auction on Sept. 3, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for persons to claim lost property. In order to claim any property you must provide proper identification and proof of ownership.
