Final Student Minister Information Session
Find out what it takes to be a student minister at the final information session to be held on Thursday, Jan. 17, at 8 p.m. in the House Lounge. Student Minister applications are due in the Campus Ministry office by 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23. For an application, go to http://ministry.cua.edu.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service
Faculty, staff, students and alumni are invited to participate in a day of service to honor Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy of service and social justice. Campus Ministry will lead a group from CUA to perform service in D.C. public schools on Monday, Jan. 21, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Lunch and T-shirts will be provided. Administrative Monday. Monday classes meet instead of Tuesday classes on this day only.

10:30 a.m., March for Life. Students may be excused from classes after 10 a.m. to attend the March for Life with Campus Ministry only if they meet all of the following criteria — sign up at http://ministry.cua.edu, inform their professors ahead of time and make up any missed work, meet at Caldwell Hall at 10:30 a.m. to check in, march with the CUA group and be present for the attendance check downtown. 11 a.m., the Office of Purchasing invites faculty and staff to the Avery Dennison Get Organized Seminar to learn tips on how to manage incoming information, organize e-mail and computer files, establish order in their workspaces, organize multiple people, and find software and formatting solutions. The seminar aims to help participants find a few extra minutes in the day, reduce stress and achieve greater productivity. Leahy Hall, First Floor Conference Room. Wednesday, Jan. 23
Noon, the Office of Human Resources and the Washington, D.C., branch of Weight Watchers International invite students, faculty and staff to an informational session for a Weight Watchers at Work program to be held on campus for 12 weeks this winter. The program will teach participants how to make wise choices, eat healthy, enjoy food and exercise. The program fee for the 12 weeks is $168, payable in two installments. Leahy Hall, Room 100. Announcements

Group Fitness Class
The Department of Athletics announces that the spring semester group fitness classes will begin on Monday, Jan. 14, at 12:05 p.m., and continue through Feb. 25. There will be no class on Jan. 21. Instead, it will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 23. Classes meet in the Aerobics Room on the second floor of the Raymond A. DuFour Center. The cost for seven classes is $50. Voice-mail System Changes
During the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, CPIT and Telecom will be replacing the current voice-mail system with a new one.  All users will be required to record new announcements and names for their mailboxes. Patronal Mass for the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas
On Tuesday, Jan. 29, the university will celebrate the Patronal Mass for the Feast of St. Thomas Aquinas at 12:10 p.m. in the Crypt Church of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Please note that classes scheduled to begin that day at 11:10 a.m. should end at 11:50 a.m., and classes scheduled to begin at 12:35 p.m. should begin at 1:20 p.m. Faculty members are welcome to participate in the Mass in academic regalia. The celebrant of the Mass will be Very Rev. Joseph Baranger, O.P., prior of the Dominican House of Studies, and the homilist will be Very Rev. Steven Boguslawski, O.P., president of the Dominican House of Studies.
