Wednesday, May 24, to Friday, May 26
Special Olympics of Washington, D.C., will hold its annual summer games on the grounds of the Raymond A. DuFour Center. CUA will provide housing and meals for approximately 500 participants and staff. More than 1,000 children and adults will compete.

The Office of Environmental Health and Safety presents the Campus Safety Health and Environmental Management Association/PRIZIM Regional Environmental Health and Safety Seminar. The Thursday workshop runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and the Friday workshop runs from 8 a.m. to noon. Registration is $180 for the Thursday workshop and $85 for the Friday workshop. The seminar's theme is "Strategies for Containing New Threats and Building on New Opportunities." Caldwell Hall. Memorial Service for Ted Litovitz
Charles J. Montrose, associate professor and chairman of the Department of Physics, invites all members of the CUA community to a memorial service honoring Ted Litovitz, professor emeritus of physics. The service will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at 3:30 p.m. in Hannan Hall's Herzfeld Auditorium. A reception will follow. CIGNA Wellness Workshop and One-on-One Meetings
The Office of Human Resources announces that on Tuesday, May 30, it will sponsor a wellness workshop and one-on-one meetings with a CIGNA representative. Wellness workshop participants can learn about CIGNA Healthy Rewards, Disease Management and other CIGNA programs. One-on-one meetings can help CIGNA members answer questions about outstanding medical and dental claims, health care and dental HMO policies and the CIGNA Web site. The workshop will be held from noon to 1 p.m., and the one-on-one meetings will be held from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The workshop and meetings will be held in Room 342 of the Pryzbyla Center and require an R.s.v.p. before May 30.
